@tjholowaychuk @iamale Starting in Chrome 68, Chrome won’t prompt automatically any more! If a site meets the criteria, it’ll fire the beforeinstallprompt event. You can then show some UI (install button), which will cause the prompt.
@tjholowaychuk @iamale The delay is meant to prevent sites from prompting the user on load. You could add a disabled button, then enable it after the beforeinstallprompt event is fired. Remember, calling prompt requires a user gesture.
