@the_borgh @ChromiumDev With WebAssembly, it certainly can be!
@dswisstack @ChromiumDev There are a couple of things that could be causing that 10 second delay. It needs the service worker to be loaded and ready, then it needs to download the manifest, and finally, it looks for some user interaction with the page.
Woot - super excited about the Native File System APIs that are starting to land. I expect it to land in an origin trial around Chrome 78! #nativefs twitter.com/ChromiumDev/st…

@timmylogue Great thanks. I’ll loop in a few folks to take a look Monday (they’re ooo this week).
Pet peeve: “across” the world. It should be around the world. Across is used for things that are flat, where you can go from one side to the other.
@raymondcamden You’re right, I had to be a little too efficient to keep Twitter happy.
@baumannzone You need Chrome 77 or higher in order to try the demo, sorry.
@DenisTRUFFAUT There’s some discussion around this in github.com/WICG/contact-a… - check it out and add any suggestions you have.
@AngularChicago Very true. Be sure to check out the privacy section of the article, we’ve done a lot of work to put users in control over which contact(s) they share, and which properties. And you can’t share everything.
Chrome is experimenting with a new Contact Picker API for the web that will enable one-time access to user selected contacts - details and sample at developers.google.com/web/updates/20…
@iangilman Nothing that I know of - I’d suggest filing a bug at crbug.com/new if you can please.

@timmylogue Would you please file a bug at crbug.com/new and let us know your use case and any details you can? Someone there will take a look. I think there are some options, but I’m not fully versed in them.
